For the Fourth consecutive year, MSA’s Flagship event “Discover Islam” is back!!

This year’s theme “Exploring the Sacred in a Material World” strikes at the heart of what it means to live with a religious worldview.
What does it mean for something to be Sacred? Why is the Sacred relevant in our modern material world? What is the Islamic worldview and how do we view the Sacred in our daily lives? How can such a worldview inform, inspire and guide all our human endeavors?

Come join us on March 16th to explore these timeless questions with Scholars and Students of Islamic Knowledge in a beautiful and stimulating evening. We will be hosting Discussion Circles and booths exploring various different areas of life, capped off with a talk about “Why is the Sacred relevant?”

The Discussions Circles will begin at 3:30 in 3 consecutive timeslots, with two circles happening in parallel at once. We will be continuously posting about each topic leading up to the event, so keep an eye out for this page!

In-between Discussion Circles, you can explore one of our various beautiful booths!
The Booths include:
– Quran Recitation
– Sacred Times
– Sacred Places
– Sacred Environment

Refreshments and baked goods will be served!
